Hullfire beta 0.1.2

The third release of Hullfire beta is uploaded. I fixed some bugs (a few of them pretty serious) and implemented some features people requested, including hiding the pointer, camera shake control, more visible ship ignition and better controls explanation.

As usual, see the download section for full changelog and download links.

Would you consider open sourcing Hullfire and Trajectory? There’s a couple of things you do with both games that I’d love to learn from (and port to Android – and make available for free and open source – as a fun project as well).

Sure, Hullfire is currently undergoing some engine changes so I’ll rather wait with opening it until it’s more stable, preferably after the final release, but I could upload Trajectory as soon as I have some free time to package it and choose a license or something.
Be warned though, I barely comment my code and those games are also my way of learning programming, so they are not really good code.

    That would be awesome. Thanks!

Unfortunately I no longer have the sources for Trajectory 1.1, I have the sources for the unfinished 1.2 version though. But because it is unfinished it doesn’t even work (it compiles but instantly segfaults), so I’m not putting them on the Trajectory page, and instead I’ll give you a link here if you’re interested:

Again, it is my first game and my first such large program, so it is terribly written, plus it is a snapshot taken in the process of moving the game from GLFW to SDL (that’s why it segfaults).
Attached is a BSD license and a Linux makefile.

By the way, what did you find so interesting in Trajectory?
